School will be CLOSED from Monday, December 22nd - Friday, January 9th for WINTER BREAK. Students RETURN on Monday, January 12, 2026. We hope you all have a restful break so you can return and be ready to learn! School will only be open for the LAUSD Winter Academy. Our office will be closed from Thursday, December 19th - Sunday, January 5th.

Make sure to buy your holiday candy grams by Thursday, December 18th! Buy yours during lunch outside the counseling office for only $3 (cash only). Candy grams will be delivered on Friday, December 19th during period 3!

Our holiday Spirit Week is from December 15-19. Participation is optional. Students who choose not to participate must wear their school uniform.

It’s tiiiiiiime! Our Winter Fest Field Day is on Thursday, December 18th during Advisory! Make sure to support Senior Council by pre-ordering your Raising Canes meal with Mr. Cedillo or Ms. Tambunan. Last day to purchase is on Dec. 16th! Seniors, make sure to pick up your wristbands for Senior Sunrise happening on Dec. 19th!

Senior Sunrise is on Friday, December 19th from 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Wear your pajamas, bring your warm blankets and watch the sunrise with friends! Pick up your wristbands during Winter Fest on 12/18 (advisory). Wristbands are REQUIRED for entry. No re-entry will be permitted once you leave the event. See Ms. Fedurek if you have any questions.

Seniors, Grad Nite is on Friday, June 5th! Our staff and students will be leaving right after school (dismissal is at 1:15 p.m. on this day). Tickets are $300 and include entry to Disneyland and Disney CA Adventure. Only 100 tickets will be sold! TICKETS MUST BE PAID BY MARCH 26, 2026! For payment or questions, see Ms. Tambunan in P8. Tickets are first come, first serve!

Nava is offering a community service opportunity on Saturday, January 24th from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. This opportunity is open to ALL students. Seniors have the option to participate to clear tardies/absences OR to earn community service hours.
